Front Porch Masonic

Your Host's Taylor and Tony take you through the world of freemasonry both inside and outside the lodge. To try to find out what Mason's and non Mason's think about the fraternity. They plan on having interesting guest both Masonic and non as well as reviews of books written about the fraternity. We hope you enjoy and welcome your feedback with how we can make the show better and more entertaining, because let's be honest neither of these two have any idea of what they are doing.

Well we did it!  We've finally started to get our act together on this whole podcasting thing, and for the first time in our short podcasting history we are pleased to bring you a third episode in one month so we hope you enjoy.

In this episode we have the pleasure to interview Right Worshipful Brother Raymond Fosnot, District Deputy Grand Master of the Second Masonic District of the Grand Lodge of Ohio.

We received a very nice email from a Brother From South Pasadena Masonic Lodge #290 F&AM in Los Angeles, California

RWB Ray tells us a little history of himself and how he was born and raised, both literally and Masonicly in the Great State of Pennsylvania.  His mother Lodge is West Shore Lodge #681 in Camp Hill, PA which has merged to become Eureka-West Shore Lodge #302 in Mechanicsburg, PA

Due to his job he had to transfer to Dayton, Ohio where he affiliated with Huber Heights Lodge #777 in Ohio

We ask him about the various differences between ohio and Pennsylvania Masonry such as the Officers, The Lodge Room itself, and the ritual.

They have no yearly inspections by the Grand Lodge but rather schools of instruction where the member must get certified in order to become master of his lodge.

A great interview and one we hope you will enjoy.
